入境注意事项 「Entry precautions」
Enter with a valid passport and visa. You should check that your passport is valid and that you have enough entry times before coming to China. If your passport has expired or you have not entered the country enough times, you should apply for a new passport or visa. If you have a residence permit, you should ensure that its type and the reason for your stay are consistent with the purpose of your entry. If you hold an expired residence permit, and the reason for entry remains unchanged, you can apply for the corresponding type of visa at the Chinese diplomatic and consular missions abroad with the expired residence permit and relevant materials.
Comply with customs, health quarantine, animal and plant inspection and quarantine regulations. When you bring animals, plants, currencies and other articles into China, you should abide by relevant Chinese laws and regulations, truthfully declare and accept inspection. If you bring restricted or prohibited items into the country, you may be confiscated, fined or denied entry.
Do not engage in activities unrelated to the purpose of visa or residence permit application. While in China, you should abide by Chinese laws, respect Chinese customs, and refrain from activities that endanger China's national security and social and public interests. If you want to change the reason for residence or extend the period of stay, you should apply to the Exit and Entry Administration department of the public security organ in time. If you engage in activities unrelated to the purposes of your visa or residence permit application without approval, or if you overstay your stay, you may be fined, detained or deported.
停留和居留注意事项 「Precautions for stay and residence」
Check in as required. If you stay or reside in China, you should register your accommodation in accordance with the regulations. If you are staying at a hotel, the hotel will check you in; If you are staying in another place (e.g. school, factory, hospital, etc.), the management of the place will check you in; If you are staying in a personal residence (such as a relative's home, a self-owned property, etc.), you should check in at the local police station within 24 hours (72 hours in rural areas).
Renew, extend or change residence permits on time. If you hold a residence permit, you should pay attention to its validity period and apply to the Exit and Entry Administration department of the public security organ for renewal, extension or alteration within 30 days before the expiration of the residence permit. If the reason for your residence changes, you should apply to the Exit and Entry Administration department of the public security organ for a change of residence permit within 10 days. If your passport or other international travel documents are lost, damaged or invalid, you should apply to the exit/entry administration department of the public security organ for a replacement residence permit within 10 days.
Keep your passport and residence permit safe. You should take good care of your passport and residence permit and do not lend, alter, forge or use forged passports and residence permits. If your passport or residence permit is lost or stolen, you should immediately report it to the local public security organ and apply to the Exit and Entry Administration department of the public security organ for a replacement within 10 days. If you find a lost or stolen passport or residence permit, you should return it immediately to the exit-entry administration of the public security organ.
离境注意事项 「Precautions for departure」
Leave the country with a valid passport and visa or residence permit. You should leave China within the validity period of your visa or residence permit. If you are unable to leave the country on time due to force majeure or other legitimate reasons, you should apply to the Exit and Entry Administration department of the public security organ for an extension of your stay in time. If you overstay, you may be fined, detained or deported.
Comply with customs, health quarantine, animal and plant inspection and quarantine regulations. When leaving China with animals, plants, currency and other articles, you should abide by relevant Chinese laws and regulations, truthfully declare and accept inspection. If you bring items that are restricted or prohibited from leaving the country, you may be confiscated, fined or refused to leave the country.
Do not leave the country with classified information and articles. During your stay in China, you may not engage in activities that endanger China's national security and social and public interests, and you may not illegally obtain, steal, buy or illegally provide China's state secrets, intelligence or other confidential materials and articles. If you are suspected of violating Chinese law, you may be investigated, prosecuted or sentenced.
