Starting from October 9th, the government service platform of the National Immigration Administration will open functions such as online reservation and query of visa documents for foreign nationals in China. Specifically, it includes 8 items:
1.Make an online appointment to apply for my visa document. Foreign applicants can make online appointments to apply for visa extension, renewal, reissuance, and residence permit business. They can choose offline certificate processing locations and time to save offline queuing time and improve window acceptance efficiency.
2.Check the progress of my visa application online. Foreign applicants can check online the progress of visa extension, renewal, reissuance, and residence permit application processed by the entry and exit management department of the public security organ, in order to arrange personal affairs reasonably.
3.Check my visa certificate information online. Foreign applicants can check their visa extension, renewal, reissuance, and residence permit information processed by the entry and exit management department of the public security organs online, making it easier to handle relevant social affairs.
4.Search online for my permanent residence ID information. Foreigners who reside permanently in China can access their permanent residence ID card information online for the convenience of handling relevant social affairs within the country.
5.Online search for passport information held by permanent resident foreigners. Foreigners who reside permanently in China can query their passport information online, and the query results can generate electronic documents with electronic signatures from the National Immigration Administration, enabling the association query between the foreigner's permanent residence ID card and their passport, making it easy to handle social affairs such as finance, taxation, social security, and telecommunications.
6.Online search for certification agency information. Foreign applicants can check online the detailed information of the public security entry and exit certificate processing halls across the country that handle foreign visa and residence permit business, including office address, office hours, consultation phone number, etc., for the convenience of applying for various types of entry and exit documents.
7.Provide online service guidance. Foreign applicants can search online for detailed guidelines on visa extension, renewal, reissuance, and residence permit issuance, and have a targeted understanding of application materials and requirements, processing procedures and methods, fee standards, etc. This facilitates the preparation of relevant materials and improves processing efficiency.
8.Provide online family and friend assistance services. Provide family and friend assistance function for foreigners who are inconvenient to operate and need assistance in mobile applications such as the elderly and children. Support Chinese and foreign users to add foreigners who need assistance as business handlers, assist in handling document appointment applications, document progress queries, document information inquiries, and other matters.
